LIFE COACHING / COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL COACHING (CBC)
Cognitive Behavioral Coaching (CBC) is based on the adaptation of cognitive-behavioral principles to a life coaching setting: CBT techniques are applied in a non-therapeutic way to the problems of everyday life to enable individuals to define and reach their goals.
Cognitive Behavioral Coaching is primarily aimed at assisting individuals in challenging regressive beliefs, developing capabilities, enhancing motivation, self-worth, problem-solving abilities. It tackles poor performance, procrastination, low self-esteem, fear of failure, low job satisfaction and many other possible psychological obstacles, which interfere with the goal achievement.
Transition coaching focuses on the process that you go through as you experience your own life-shifts.
Transition coaching helps you adapt to a transition that’s already occurred. The transition process involves two components – the physical changes and the psychological changes, so, transition coaching doesn’t focus only on the motivational, strategic and planning aspects of transitions. It seeks to provide you with encouragement, questioning, goal-development, diverse planning, support and sharing.

Some of us have a hard time making the adjustment when we first move abroad, while others handle the transition just fine. Everyone deals with change differently, but change joined by cultural differences may challenge even the smartest and culturally literate individual.
